Last week I went on a trip to Antwerp with 5 of my friends. And it was such a great experience that I felt like I had to share it with you guys.
We started the day out bright and early. Our train departed from Rotterdam Central station and took us all the way to Antwerp Central station. I regret not taking more pictures at the station cause it is so gorgeous! Luckily I did film some footage there, which you can see in my video at the end of this post.
After arriving in Antwerp we just went straight into the city. Because what does one do when in a different country? That’s right, go shopping! We mainly walked along the Meir. Where I didn’t shoot too much footage cause the shops were just too interesting 😉 Eventually, we made our way to the Groenplaats, a lovely square at the very center of the city.
Here, we decided to grab a drink at a cafe. So we could enjoy the view for a little longer. Also, don’t ask why we decided to sit on a terrace in the middle of winter, I can’t tell you.
I mainly filmed during this trip, but I also took some pictures here and there. Most of them are of buildings, but I also shot some pics of my friends and I think they look so cute so I am sharing them as well.
Overall, this was such a great day-trip! I mean, all the ingredients for the perfect trip were there: great company, shopping, hot chocolate, and a beautiful city. How could it possibly not have been a good day?
Like I said, I filmed quite a bit in Antwerp. So I compiled my footage into a little montage. It’s my first travel video, so please keep that in mind haha I’m still practicing.
