If you have been following me for a while you might know that I co-own(ed) a blog called Dorky & Dutch with my friend Doreth. We started that adventure in August of 2016 as a place to share our love for books. We’ve reviewed quite a few books, got our first review copies, got involved with a cool community and so much more. But we have now decided it is time to say goodbye to that part of our online journey. We found that it wasn’t working out as we weren’t able to post as much as we wanted to, mainly due to other responsibilities. I am obviously still active on here for those of you who want to keep up with my writings. Doreth has not yet decided whether she wants to continue on her own or if blogging will remain in the past.

BUT seeing as I am a very nostalgic person, I couldn’t bear to delete all the posts I’d written for Dorky & Dutch, or just save them somewhere on a hard drive never to be looked at again. Therefore I have decided to transfer all my posts to this blog. So if you were a reader of Dorky & Dutch you will still have access to my old content, and if you are new you can read some of my older reviews and miscellaneous posts. They can all be found through this link.

First of all, Happy New Year! Second of all, welcome. Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m excited to have you here, please make yourself at home. If you got here through one of my social media platforms, you might already know who I am. But in case you don’t: Hi. I am Lotte, a 21-year-old girl who’s still trying to figure out how life works. I love reading (I write book reviews for dorkyanddutch), writing (failed nanowrimo 2 years in a row) and design (I study web design).
